Job interview

Last week, we went to George Street to interview for kiwi.  My partner was Shuta.  We decided four questions about job interview. When we first asked these question to a people, maybe he came from South Africa. He asked us if we want to get a job, we explain that’s just a homework for our class. He is friendly and he spent much time in asking the question. In my country we have a proverb: All things are difficult before they are easy. So after that that’s not difficult. Before we asked the questions we observe the people. We choose the people looked friendly and not worried. That can make us have more possibility of them to answer our questions. Anyway, that’s a good memory.

Job interview

I interviewed to kiwis in the city and found that it was difficult. Before I did it, I thought it is easy for me to ask some questions to kiwis. Because I  was experienced to talk to people who I do not know in the current study abroad. However, it was so hard for me to ask some people who I do not know. Because it was difficult to find a person who had time to respond to the interview. I predicted that a person who walking slowly, or waiting for the bus have time. For this reason, I was squeezing the target. It was a very good choice for me. thanks to the strategy, I could catch some people. I am not only how to find the interviewee but also learned about  job interviews. So it was a very good experience for me.

job interview

On Friday we went to George Street with Shurui for job interview. First 15 minutes I can not ask to people because I am so shy and I thought everyone didn't listen to us but most people listen to us. In Japan I think many people will not stop walking or not response the questions. However in New Zealand most people response our questions. Then I felt what different from Japanese and New Zealander but I'm not sure. when I talk with kiwi there were really kind for us and speak slow. I could find human personality from this interview.

Job Interview

Last Friday, I went to the George Street to have a interview with kiwi about the job interview.
I was kind of frightened to speak to strange people. But It was so funny.
Some people are busy so I could not hold them for a long time. I can remember the interview with someone who seems most busy in the world. We had interview during across the road. And she did not hear my question. Just looked at my question sheet and just make me thick at answer sheet. Even she was very busy she tried to help me which is nice!!!!
However I and Riku suffered from who reject our interview. Because some of them reject as rude.

Job interviw

Job interview
On last Friday, I went to Gorge Street to interview kiwi about job interview.
I and Man made 4 questions about job interview. It was difficult because I am shy and some people were unfriendly. I felt young people were more friendly than old people. But the interview was good experience for me.

Job Interview

Last week, we went to George St to interview Kiwis.  My partner was Frangky.  We decided four questions about job interviews.  First, we asked two young women who were very kind and friendly.  So at that time, I thought that interviews was very easy for me, because in Japan, almost all people are shy, so many people do not answer a interview.  If I was asked some questions in Japan, I might not answer to them.  By the way, I and Frangky asked some people and I think five people had already answered our questions.  But after that, some people did not answer us.  Once, I asked two women, but they said "sorry, I don't speak English" with native pronunciation.  It was quite funny.  Finally, we asked ten people in fifty minutes.  I think our result was good.  I had a good experience in the class, because it was my first time to interview to people in English.

Job Interviews

Job Interviews
At Friday 24 June, I and Momo went to ask some questions about job interviews. We went to George Street. First we asked a woman who sat in the garden. She asked how much time it would take because she would go back to work. We said it should be two or three minutes. After that we waited and looked around at the intersection between George Street and Pitt Street. We met many people. Some of them didn’t want to talk too much. They just shook their heads and said Nope I will be late now!.I think they would go to meet their girl or boy friends. That was why they worried too much. But some people were very kind. They didn’t worry about time. Maybe they had finished their work already or they had a break from work.

This activity was very exciting because we had to go to talk to other people that we didn’t know before and they are not teachers or information center workers. That made us scared for a little. But it was funny.  :D

Job interview

Job Interview

On Friday , Hanako and I we made 4 questions about Job Interview and each question have four answers . We made the questions together and it was easy to find questions but slightly difficult to choose four answers for each Q  ^-^  . On Friday afternoon at 2;00 P.M. we went to George street to interview " Kiwis" about job experience and this was the first time for us to meet with strangers and ask them questions like interview . We felt scared to ask them because a first two Kiwis rejected us and they were so busy to listen to our questions and also we felt scared because we didn't want to be rejected or bother anyone.
Finally, we got answers from 7 "Kiwis" and they were very kind with us .

It was the first time for me but I think it was the best idea to learn how to introduce yourself to new people and how to find the confidence to approach strangers .

Job Interview on George Street

Job Interview on George Street

Last Friday, our class had a street interview with Kiwi people.
Before that we worked in pairs to make several questions about “Job Interviews” and each question has four answers to choose from. I made those questions and answers with Sophie. Actually, most of Q and A were made by her, it was very helpful for me.
When we started interviews on George Street, many people looked busy so I felt scared to ask them. But some people seemed to be not walking so quickly or when our eyes contacted them and if they smiled and came close to us that was a sign they had time to answer the questions.
We tried to ask about 18 people, and we got answers from 9 people. I felt the interview was not easy but not too hard.
I found an interesting thing that some answer choices depended on their generation and gender.

The survey about interviews

On Friday afternoon Miki and I did a survey about interviews by asking members of public. Before the interview, we had created four questions and four answers for each question in class. Miki wrote these questions and answers on a piece of paper with a beautiful handwriting. We started the survey along the George Street. About seventeen people were asked but only nine of them answered the questions. There were four males and five females among these interviewees. I found that the old people and young men were likely to stop and answer the questions. These people were very nice and some of them were humorous. Although a lot of people refused to be interviewed, they still were very polite and friendly. After forty minutes, we finished the survey perfectly.

JOB INTERVIEW

JOB INTERVIEW

I went to the George St to get some imformetion about a job interview on 24 June. I asked some people about that with Hyojin. We made 5 questions before we got to George St. Looking at an interview, I thought that it was much more difficult than I had ever expected before. It is not only difficult I thought but also I thought that if someone tried to survey me, I would let them know my opinion. We cut out one question actually because of time. Many people we asked do not have enough time to answer a question. However we could get some people who spent time answering them for us about 11 people. First of all, we introduced ourslves and then started to ask them 4 questions. 3 of them had never been for a job interview before. The other people had alredy experienced a job interview. They told us that the best way to prepare for it is researching about the company. I was a liitle surpurised that all of them chose that answer. Overall, this interview illustrated that their answers of each questons were almost the same answers. Even I would say as them. This result would be very helpful for when I look for a job.

JOB EXPERIENCE INTERVIEW

Natsuki and I went to George Street for interview people about their job experience, we asked them our first question about the most important thing in an interview some people chose confidence as their answer, followed by honesty, preparation, and the last was appereance. Second questionary was about worst thing to do and the answer for that was tell lies. Then, about what kind of cloth is appropriate for an interview most people who have been interviewed by us said that tidy casual was more appropriate than others, The answer for our last questionery which we asked was which question wouldn't you like to answer in an interview was if you could have six months which no obligations and financial limitations,  what would you do with the time ? because they felt that it was the strangest and the weirdest question they wouldn't answer. From Our field interview we could conclude that in the interview appereance and clothes someone or somebody depends on what job they want and good behaviour for an interview such as be prepared, keep smiling, always have an eye contact with the interviewer is needed and neccesary.
