Risk Taker Interview

Olga

Last Friday Gap and I carried out our survey on George St. It was our first survey homework because we started the course on the second week unlike the rest of the group.

Our Survey was about five questions. Our first surveyed were for two young couples sitting in the park, one couple were delighting the famous ice creams on George St. called "Rob Roy." They collaborated very well, they were very kind so we felt motivated to carry on with our homework therefore we decided to keep walking on George St. on direction to the Octagon. On our way we were intercepting people, just few persons didn't want to answer our survey.

Only we had a strange interview. It was with two young guys, they looked a quite relaxed, they were siting in a bench making some cigarettes so Gap felt a bit unsafe and he didn't want to interviewing them but I said to him, Why not!?, Come on! New Zealand is the safest place in the world so no worries, just we can try it. We got the survey with the guys, everything was well, obviously they weren't so friendly but also they weren't rude with us.

We Stopped in a Sushi Shop called "Skyline" we got two interviews there from two workers, we decided to take the interviews because the shop was very quite.

In total we got 10 interviews, we found just young people at that time. Around the 90% of the interviewed are "Risk takers." The majority would like to try risk sports mainly parachute jumping. I was quite surprise even they are young people and they like to be on risk situations many times. They wouldn't like to travel in a big cities (Beijing, Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, etc.) alone and also they don't like to try to meet someone on a dating site.

I general, I think we really had good experience, we enjoy it and the principal thing, we got our goal.
