Falling leaves return to their roots
I am going to introduce a book called Falling leaves to the roots. That book was written by a Chinese woman. Her name is Adeline
YenMah. Before she wrote this book, she was a doctor and lived in the USA. When an interviewer asked why you gave up the job to be a writer, her reason was she
just wanted to write something to commemorate the past and introduced philosophy of
life. This is an autobiographical novel. We can see the whole life of the
writer from the third perspective. We can know the 20th century China. Integration of Chinese and Western culture. I think that is a good book for you
if you want to know some history about China, because you can experience that
as a common people, feeling what most people felt.
